Throughout these Terms the words "we", "us" and "our" refer to African Luxury Group Limited trading as Daniel Diyepriye, a limited company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15591903) with its registered office at 3rd Floor, 45 Albemarle Street, Mayfair, London, England, W1S 4JL. Daniel Diyepriye operates this store and website — including all content, tools, products and services (collectively, the "Services") — to give you a curated, made-in-London shopping experience. The Services are powered by Shopify.
The Terms below, together with any policies referenced (these "Terms of Service" or "Terms"), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services. By using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1 · Access and Account
By agreeing to these Terms you confirm you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence, and you consent to any minor dependents in your care using the Services on your devices.
When you use the Services — browsing, adding a piece to your bag, reserving through the £9.99 deposit, or completing an order — we may ask you to provide information such as your email address, billing address, payment details and shipping address. You confirm all information you provide is correct, current and complete. You are solely responsible for the security of your account and for all activity on it.
2 · Our Products
Each piece we offer is a handmade leather good produced in London by our atelier. We have made every effort to represent our products accurately online. Colour, grain, finish and hardware may look slightly different on your screen compared to the piece in your hand — this is the nature of natural leather and small-batch production, and part of the character we sign our name to.
All descriptions are subject to change without notice. We may discontinue any product at any time, and may limit quantities offered to any person, region or country on a case-by-case basis.
3 · Orders · In-Stock, The Bundle, and Reserve (Runs of Ten)
We sell in three ways. Each order is subject to our Refund Policy.
A · In-stock pieces (buy individually and ship from stock)
Currently: The Tobi Backpack (£990), The Abimbola Jigsaw Duffle (£490), The Aremu Messenger (£390), and every colourway of The Ibukun Tiny Tote (£390). You buy at the listed price, we ship promptly.
B · The Bundle (buy all three best-sellers together and save)
A single £1,000 bundle SKU containing The Tobi Backpack + The Abimbola Jigsaw Duffle + The Aremu Messenger in one colourway (Black · Nkari · or Orange). Individual total is £1,870 — the Bundle saves you £870. The Bundle ships as one order once your payment clears. The three pieces remain available individually for anyone who only wants one.
C · Reserve for £9.99 (runs of ten)
Every other piece is produced in a run of ten. When a piece is marked "Sold out · Reserve for £9.99," placing that £9.99 deposit is an offer to purchase, not a completed purchase. Your reservation is confirmed only when we have received the deposit and issued a confirmation email. Then:
- Your £9.99 secures your place in a pool of ten.
- If ten reservations for that piece are placed within 14 days, the pool closes. We charge the remaining balance to the payment method you used for the deposit, produce your piece, and ship it.
- If fewer than ten reservations are placed within 14 days, we automatically refund your £9.99 in full to the original payment method. No further action is required from you.
Daniel Diyepriye reserves the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, and to cancel any accepted order if information is inaccurate, if fraud is suspected, or if the item is no longer available. You confirm your purchases are for your own personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export.
4 · Prices and Billing
All prices are in GBP (£) and include UK VAT where applicable. Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice. The price charged is the price shown at the time your order or reservation is placed and confirmed in your order confirmation email. Posted prices do not include shipping, duties, customs, or import charges for orders shipping outside the United Kingdom.
You agree to provide current and accurate purchase and payment information, and represent and warrant that (i) any card details you provide are true and complete, (ii) you are authorised to use that card, (iii) charges you incur will be honoured by your card issuer, and (iv) you will pay all charges — including shipping, duties and applicable taxes.
5 · Shipping and Delivery
Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and in your order confirmation. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or events outside our control. Once we transfer your piece to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you.
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs fees payable by you upon delivery.
6 · Intellectual Property
Our Services — including all trademarks, brand marks, text, product photography, videos, editorial content and the design and arrangement of the store — are owned by Daniel Diyepriye (African Luxury Group Limited), its affiliates or licensors and are protected by UK and international copyright, trademark and design law.
These Terms permit you to use the Services for personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display or republish any material on the Services without our prior written consent.
"Daniel Diyepriye", the jigsaw-motif embossed leather pattern, the wordmark, and related product names are trademarks and unregistered design rights of Daniel Diyepriye. You must not use them without our prior written permission.
7 · Optional Third-Party Tools
You may be provided access to third-party tools through the Services (payment processors, chat widgets, analytics). Access is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty or endorsement. Your use of any third-party tool is at your own risk.
8 · Third-Party Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of any third-party materials. If you leave the Services to access a third-party site, you do so at your own risk.
9 · Relationship with Shopify
Daniel Diyepriye is powered by Shopify. All sales are made directly with Daniel Diyepriye, not with Shopify. You release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims and liabilities arising from your purchases with us.
10 · Privacy
All personal information we collect is subject to our Privacy Policy. Because the Services are hosted by Shopify, certain personal information is also processed by Shopify subject to Shopify's Privacy Policy.
11 · Feedback
If you submit any Feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and display that Feedback in any medium for any purpose (including commercial). We are not obliged to keep Feedback confidential, to compensate you for it, or to respond.
12 · Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions
Occasionally the Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions. We reserve the right to correct any errors, update information, or cancel orders at any time without prior notice — including after you have placed your order. If we cancel a paid order for this reason, we refund the amount paid in full.
13 · Prohibited Uses
You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not use them for any unlawful purpose, to violate any law, to infringe any intellectual property rights, to harass any person, to transmit false or misleading information, to send spam, to impersonate any person or entity, to reproduce or resell any part of the Services, to collect personal information about others, or to use any robot, spider, scraper, AI agent or automated means to access the Services except as expressly permitted in Section 14.
You also agree not to upload viruses or malicious code, interfere with the security of the Services, or bypass any authentication or access control.
14 · AI Agents
14.1 "Agent" means any software or service that takes autonomous or semi-autonomous action on behalf of any person, that can be executed without direct human supervision.
14.2 No Agent may access the Services unless it identifies itself and operates strictly in accordance with Section 14.4. If we ask an Agent to stop, it must stop.
14.3 We may limit, by technical measure, whether and how any Agent accesses the Services.
14.4 Agents must (i) disclose the Agent name in the user-agent string on all requests; (ii) not conceal or obfuscate their nature, including by mimicking human interaction or circumventing CAPTCHAs; (iii) respond truthfully when asked if they are human or automated; (iv) not circumvent measures intended to block or control Agent access.
15 · Termination
We may terminate this agreement or your access to the Services at our sole discretion at any time without notice. You remain liable for all amounts owed up to the date of termination.
16 · Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as expressly stated by Daniel Diyepriye, the Services and all products offered through the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without any representation, warranty or condition of any kind. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under UK law that cannot be excluded.
17 · Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no case shall Daniel Diyepriye, our partners, directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors or licensors — or those of Shopify — be liable for any injury, loss, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services or products, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility.
Nothing here limits our liability for (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence, (b) fraud, or (c) any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.
18 · Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Daniel Diyepriye, Shopify, and our respective affiliates from any losses, damages or claims (including reasonable legal fees) payable to any third party arising from (1) your breach of these Terms, (2) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (3) your access to or use of the Services.
19 · Severability
If any provision of these Terms is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
20 · Waiver · Entire Agreement
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver. These Terms, together with any policies posted on the Services, constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede any prior agreements.
21 · Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms without notice to you.
22 · Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You and Daniel Diyepriye agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.
23 · Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time by posting the update to our website. Your continued use of the Services after we post changes constitutes acceptance.
