The house of Daniel Diyepriye
Founded in London by Daniel Diyepriye. A small atelier at Bethnal Green, cutting and finishing every piece by hand. The house works in runs of ten so no piece sits idle and every owner is counted.
The naming
Each piece carries a Yoruba name — Tobi, Ibukun, Aremu, Darasimi, Nkari — after a person the house has known. The naming holds the piece to a family, and to a place. It is a small ceremony. The atelier does not translate it.
What we make
Bags in embossed lychee, puzzle-pattern grain and hand-waxed leather. Small runs of shoes. A ready-to-wear line that echoes the leather in cloth. The materials lead. The silhouette follows.
