The pool-commit model

The atelier does not make in advance. It waits.

How the run begins

Every piece is opened as a run of ten. You commit £5 to hold your place. When ten patrons commit, the run opens — your card is charged in full and the atelier begins.

How the piece arrives

Once the run has begun, the piece is cut and finished by hand at the Bethnal Green atelier. It leaves London seven days later, addressed to you.

If ten never arrive

Your £5 is returned quietly. The atelier writes to explain. No further charge is taken. You are welcome to commit again when the next run opens.
